TRAINEES IMPROVING PATIENT SAFETY through QUALITY IMPROVEMENT

Nationally-recognised training, empowering Junior Doctors to undertake QI

We believe the future of the NHS depends upon its ability to constantly improve and that the best ideas come from those delivering care. Our mission is to enable Junior Doctors to improve patient care in their areas of work, through the use of Quality Improvement methods.

QI WORKSHOPS FOR JUNIOR DOCTORS

Using internationally proven methods

The training sessions we provide are based around the Model for Improvement - a simple tool, easily used in practice.

Developing the next generation of Quality Improvers

The core TIPS QI team act as mentors to a cohort of FY2 'leads', who receive more in-depth QI training and are responsible for delivery of teaching to local FY1 doctors.

Proud to be based in the North West of England

This year (2017/18) we are mentoring 21 leads to deliver training to doctors at 18 NHS Trusts (21 hospitals).
